Set my tent at Hotakadakesanso campsite the day before. Got up at 3am, arrived at the peak at 4am. Setup my camera, waited a bit and captured this amazing moment.

Taken from just below the Kitahotakadake peak using the Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 35-100mm at the 100mm end. Liked how clouds cast shadow and hikers moving in and out of the hut and the campsite.

Wasn’t an ideal condition to climb up / down there. Scary moment.

What more can I say? Enjoyed the 360 degree panorama view from Karasawadake.

Have been wanting to get this shot – 360 degree panorama view under the full moonlight.

And Tsurione is just amazing.
